Tools for Exploration

The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory operates two Bruker AVANCE NMR spectrometers. These instruments are each equipped with multiple probes, including the fully-automated BBFO probe which allows for automated software selection, tuning and shimming of many NMR-active nuclei. The following instruments are available 24 hours per day for use by all I²NM² researchers:

  1. Bruker AVANCE 500 MHz NMR spectrometer equipped with BBFO, 10B, 11B, broadband inverse probes and equipped with a B-ACS 60 automated sample changer. This instrument is capable of automated multinuclear NMR experiments and variable temperature experiments. The 500 MHz spectrometer is available for reservation for extended time experiments.

  2. Bruker AVANCE III 400 MHz NMR spectrometer equipped with BBFO and 11B-optimized broadband probes and equipped with a B-ACS 60 automated sample changer. This instrument is capable of automated multinuclear NMR experiments. The 400 MHz spectrometer is assigned for short duration experiments only and is available to I2NM2 researchers 24 hours per day.
